Charles “Schärlu” Casali (born April 27, 1923 - † January 8, 2014 ) was a Swiss football player . The external rotor denied with the national team the World Cup finals in 1954 , when the team pushed forward to the quarterfinals.

Athletic career

Casali began his career at Viktoria Bern . He came to BSC Young Boys through FC St. Gallen , where he had moved for professional reasons . With the club he joined in 1950 in the National League A in.
