Charles Cyphers

Charles Cyphers (born July 28, 1939 in Niagara Falls , New York ) is an American film actor .

Life

Charles Cyphers began acting as an actor in a few minor roles in the early 1970s. From the middle of the decade, he was primarily seen in television productions, including three episodes of the series The Six Million Dollar Man . With the beginning of the next decade, there followed a brief period of increased cinema productions in which Cyphers participated.

Cyphers first worked with director John Carpenter on his 1976 film Assault . Other joint films followed. In 1978 Cyphers took on the role of Sheriff Brackett in the classic slasher film Halloween - The Night of Horror . He slipped back into the role in the sequel, later also directed by Carpenter, Halloween II - The horror returns .
