Charles Kambale Mbogha

Charles Kambale Mbogha AA (born November 4, 1942 in Kilubo , † October 9, 2005 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo .

Life

Charles Kambale Mbogha was ordained a priest on July 24, 1969 , joined the Assumptionist order and made profession in 1972. John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Wamba on June 11, 1990 .

He was ordained episcopal on November 25th of the same year by the Archbishop of Kisangani , Laurent Monsengwo Pasinya ; Co- consecrators were Emmanuel Kataliko , Bishop of Butembo-Beni , and Gustave Olombe Atelumbu Musilamu , Former Bishop of Wamba .

The Pope appointed him Bishop of Isiro - Niangara on December 6, 1995 . The Pope appointed him Archbishop of Bukavu on March 13, 2001 .
