Emmanuel Kataliko

Emmanuel Kataliko (* 1932 in Lukale , Belgian Congo ; † October 4, 2000 ) was a Congolese clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bukavu .

Life

Emmanuel Kataliko received on 20 December 1958, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 17, 1966, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Beni (later: Butembo-Beni). The bishop emeritus of Beni, Henri Joseph Marius Piérard AA , donated him episcopal ordination on October 11 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Bunia , Gabriel Ukec , and the Bishop of Goma , Joseph Mikararanga Busimba .

On March 3, 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Bukavu.
