Charles Adolphus Murray, 7th Earl of Dunmore (born March 24, 1841 in London , † August 27, 1907 in Frimley near Camberley , Surrey ) was a Scottish nobleman .

His parents were Alexander Edward Murray, 6th Earl of Dunmore (1804-1845) and Lady Catherine Herbert.

On April 5, 1866, he married Lady Gertrude Coke.

He was Lord-in-Waiting of Benjamin Disraeli's government .

In 1892, while exploring the Pamirs, he roamed west of Chinese Turkestan , moving from Ladakh to Yarkant and later spending a week in Kashgar .
