Charles Rahi Chun

Charles Rahi Chun (born February 28, 1967 in New York City ) is an American actor who appeared in the television shows Criminal Minds , Scrubs , Everybody Loves Raymond and Ned's Ultimate School Madness .

Life

Born in New York, Chun first grew up in Salt Lake City . His father worked as a scientist and consultant, his mother as a nurse, and the couple also have a daughter. When Chun was five years old, his family moved with him to Seoul , where his father worked as a professor at a scientific and technical institute. Chun later attended junior high school in Southern California and Connecticut College , where he began working as a choreographer and performer on dance shows until he turned to acting.

Chun made his acting debut in 1994 in the American action thriller Pentathlon , where he played a Korean Olympian. He has also appeared in films such as Beverly Hills Cop III , Dumb and Dumber , The Interview and The Uncle From Mars . In 1996 he appeared as a guest on the popular Star Trek: Deep Space Nine , Episode Trials and Tribble-ations , in which he played Starfleet, a technician on Starship Enterprise's USS Enterprise .

He appeared in a single episode of OC, California as the man who evicted Julie Cooper from Caleb Nichol's house as a doctor in episode Beyond Belief: Fact Or Fiction? and as a call girl-obsessed former district attorney's brother-in-law in Castle's second season. He also starred on Big Time Rush as Lucy's father. In total, he starred in over a hundred TV episodes and films.
