Charles Thomas (athlete)
Charles Thomas ( Charles Augusta Thomas; born October 3, 1931 in Fostoria , Montgomery County , Texas ; † January 26, 2015 in Bryan , Texas) was an American sprinter .
At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1955 , he won silver in the 200m and gold in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1954 he was starting NCAA championship over 220 yards for the University of Texas .
