Charles Vandenhove (born July 3, 1927 in Teuven , † January 22, 2019 in Liège ) was a Belgian architect .

The son of a businessman first studied at the Saint-Luc College in Liège from 1945 and finished his studies in 1951 at the La Cambre College of Architecture in Brussels . In 2007 Vandenhove bequeathed his art collection to the Maastricht Bonnefantenmuseum .

  • The renovation of the Monnaie Theater in Brussels
  • Construction of the CHU University Hospital of Liège, Sart Tilman
  • Renovation of the Cour Saint-Antoine in Liège.
  • Renovation of the Hôtel Torrentius in Liège, a palace from the 16th century.
  • Renovation of the Théâtre des Abbesses in Paris - Montmartre .

Most of his important projects were realized in the Netherlands, for example in Amsterdam , The Hague , Dordrecht , Breda , 's-Hertogenbosch , Eindhoven , Maastricht , but also in London .
