Charles Gustav Wilhelm Winckler (born April 9, 1867 in Frederiksberg ; † December 17, 1932 there ) was a Danish athlete and tug of war .
Winckler took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris in the shot put and was only tenth there. He also took part in the discus throw , but could not win a medal there either. He then took part in a tug of war with other Swedish and Danish athletes in a mixed team, including Edgar Aabye , August Nilsson , Eugen Schmidt , Gustaf Söderström and Karl Gustaf Staaf , with whom he won the gold medal against a French team.
Winckler was Danish champion four times: in 1901 (10.04 meters), 1902 (9.74 m) and 1903 (10.20 m) he won the shot put, and in 1902 (29.31 m) he won the discus throw.
