Charlevoix-Est is a regional county municipality ( French municipalités régionales de comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region Capitale-Nationale and consists of nine subordinate administrative units (two cities, four municipalities, a district and two municipality-free areas). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Clermont . The population is 16,121 and the area is 2286.0 km², which corresponds to a population density of 7.1 inhabitants per km².
