Charlotte Christine Buissine
Charlotte Christine Buissine (born April 4, 1749 in Hanau , † allegedly in the Cape ), was the second of the four mistresses of Landgrave Wilhelm IX. von Hessen-Kassel , later Elector Wilhelm I of Hessen .
She was the daughter of a Hanau official, the land rider Henri Buissine and his wife, nee Charlotte Varlut. Prince Wilhelm was then and until 1786 regent in the County of Hanau , at that time a secondary school of the Landgraviate of Hesse-Kassel.
The common illegitimate children of Charlotte and Wilhelm IX./I. Received - like the mother - the name Freiherr / Freifrau / Freiin von Heimrod after the place of birth of the firstborn :

- Karl, Freiherr von Heimrod (* July 19, 1776, Rodheim vor der Höhe ; † May 13, 1827, Paris ), married in 1803 Charlotte, Freiin von Stockhausen (* July 15, 1781; † December 31, 1855)
