Charlotte Giebelmann
Charlotte Giebelmann (born October 13, 1899 in Berlin ; † February 28, 2002 there ) was a German figure skating coach .
Life
Charlotte Giebelmann started ice skating at the age of six. In her youth she was a celebrated revue star at the Admiralspalast . After the Second World War , she played a key role in building the first GDR competition in figure skating in the 1950s . Her protégés included Jutta Müller , Inge Wischnewski and Heinz Lindner , who were later successful as coaches .
Charlotte Giebelmann was married to Harry Giebelmann. Most recently she lived in a nursing home in the Berlin district of Pankow . She is one of the few people who have lived in three centuries.
