Inge Wischnewski

Inge Wischnewski , b. Kabisch (born March 2, 1930 in Weißenfels ; † July 11, 2010 ) was a German figure skater and figure skating trainer.

Life

Inge Wischnewski was four times GDR champion in roller skating and four times GDR champion in figure skating for the Weissenfels Progress Club. She was always placed ahead of her future coaching competitor Jutta Müller . Both runners were looked after by Charlotte Giebelmann .

In 1955, on the "advice" of the GDR sports management, she ended her active sports career and became a trainer. She also studied at the DHfK Leipzig .

She lived and then worked in Berlin. Her best-known students include Christine Errath (world champion 1974, three-time European champion and Olympic bronze medalist 1976), Uwe Kagelmann (twice Olympic bronze in pair skating), Rolf Oesterreich (Olympic silver medalist in pair skating ), Alexander König (third in junior world championship in 1982), Janina third in pair skating in 1982 Wirth (Junior World Champion 1982), Bernd Wunderlich and Kerstin Stolfig . This makes her Berlin's most successful trainer. In the GDR she was honored in 1974 with the Patriotic Order of Merit and in 1976 with the Order of Labor Banner .

From 1991 Inge Wischnewski was a guest trainer in Norway for 5 years . She then lived again in Berlin .
