Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte Taylor (married name Charlotte Booth * 14. August 1985 in Huntingdon ) is a British lightweight - rower .

The 1.65 m tall Charlotte Taylor graduated from the University of St Andrews . She only started rowing after graduating from the Putney Town Rowing Club in 2010 . At the European Championships in 2014 she took fourth place in the lightweight single . In the Rowing World Cup in 2014, the lightweight rower competed in double sculls and double sculls , at the World Championships she took sixth place in the lightweight double sculls with Ruth Walczak , Eleanor Piggott and Brianna Stubbs .

In 2015 she rowed with Katherine Copeland in the lightweight double scull. The two won the 2015 European Championships in Poznan and the World Cup regatta in Varese. At the World Championships , New Zealanders Sophie MacKenzie and Julia Edward won ahead of Copeland and Taylor. At the 2016 Olympic Games , Copeland and Taylor were far from their previous year's form, with the two finishing in 14th place.
