The Ferrero Bay is a 24 km wide bay on the Walgreen Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd lands . It is located immediately west of the Cosgrove Ice Shelf and occupies the extreme western part of the area between the King Peninsula and the Canisteo Peninsula .
It was mapped using aerial photographs from Operation Highjump (1946–1947) from December 1946. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Lieutenant Commander Henry Hampton Ferrero (1923–1990), communications officer on the command staff of the United States Navy Support Units in Antarctica from 1966 to 1968.
