Chelsy Yvonne Davy (born October 13, 1985 in Bulawayo , Zimbabwe ) is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur and was in a relationship with Prince Harry of Wales from 2004 to 2011 .

Life

Davy grew up in her native Zimbabwe and has a younger brother. She is the daughter of Beverley Davy born. Donald (* 1959), a Rhodesian model, and Charles Davy (* 1952), a South African farmer. Her father, who organizes safaris , has been criticized several times for his business connections with President Robert Mugabe's government .

Davy attended Bulawayo Girls College, Cheltenham College in Gloucestershire, and Stowe School in Buckinghamshire . After finishing school in South Africa, she attended the University of Cape Town with her brother and graduated in 2006 with a degree in economics . From 2007 to 2009 she also studied law at the University of Leeds in a post-graduate course , while doing an internship in a law firm in London in December 2008. Between summer 2009 and summer 2010, Davy took a sabbatical . From September 2010 she completed a two-year trainee program at the London law firm Allen & Overy .

Davy has been the owner and jewelry designer of the jewelry company she founded in London since June 2016.

Relationship with Prince Harry

Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry's relationship became known in November 2004 when they were vacationing together on a ranch in Argentina . At this point, they are said to have been a couple for eight months. They met when Davy was attending boarding school in England. In December 2004, Davy and Prince Harry were photographed together for the first time on the island of Bazaruto in Mozambique .

According to media reports, Davy ended the relationship in January 2009. From September 2009 rumors piled up that the Prince and Davy were reviving their relationship.
