Chiara Ferragni (born May 7, 1987 in Cremona ) is an Italian entrepreneur , blogger , influencer and model .

Private life

Chiara Ferragni is the daughter of the dentist Marco Ferragni and the writer Marina Di Guardo. She has two younger sisters, Francesca and Valentina. The Italian went to the humanistic high school Daniele Manin in her hometown of Cremona . After graduating from high school, she studied law at Milan's elite Bocconi University , but did not finish her studies.

In May 2017, she got engaged to the Italian rapper Fedez , their son was born in March 2018. On September 1, 2018, the couple married in Noto , Sicily .

Career

In 2009 Ferragni created the blog "The Blonde Salad". In 2010 she presented her own shoe line and was a guest at the MTV TRL Awards. In August 2014, Ferragni was a guest judge for the 13th edition of Project Runway . In the same year she had sales of eight million US dollars with her blog , a year later of ten million US dollars . In 2015, she and her work were the subject of a case study at Harvard Business School . April 2015 Ferragni was the first fashion blogger, on a cover of Vogue appeared when she was selected for the April issue of the Spanish Vogue.

In 2016 Forbes magazine included the blogger in the list of “30 Under 30 Europe: The Arts”. In August 2016, Mattel created a Barbie version of Chiara Ferragni. Because of her fame, she also received model orders for well-known brands such as Swarovski , Pantene , Amazon , Pomellato and Intimissimi .

With more than 20 million followers, she is one of the most-clicked and best-paid influencers on the Instagram social network, and according to the fashion magazine Vogue , she is the "most successful influencer in the world".
