Chinasa Gloria Okoro (born December 8, 1987 in Owerri , Nigeria ) is an equatorial Guinean- Nigerian soccer player .

Career

Chinasa began her professional career in 2005 with the Rivers Angels . After she won the 2011 women's soccer World Cup in Germany in two appearances for the Equatorial Guinean national soccer team , she switched to the Polish first division club RTP Unia Racibórz on July 25, 2011 . In her first season she advanced to the top scorer of the RTP Unia Racibórz and helped the team to defend their title with 20 goals. She also scored a goal in the 3-1 cup victory of her team RTP Unia Racibórz against KKPK Medyk Konin .

International

Born in Niger, Okoro has been a national player for the Equatorial Guinean national soccer team since 2006 and took part in the 2011 women's soccer world championship in Germany . There she played in 2 games, but could not score a goal. Okoro made her debut in qualifying for the 2006 African Cup of Nations and took part in the final tournament. In her second participation in the women's African Cup of Nations in 2008 , she won the tournament with the team from Equatorial Guinea. In her third and so far last participation in the women's Africa Cup of Nations in 2010 , she was runner-up after losing to the Nigerian women's national soccer team in the final .
