The Chodschabakirgan ( kirghiz Кожо-Бакырган-Сай ; Russian Ходжабакирган ) is a left tributary of Syrdarja in Kyrgyzstan and Tadschikistan ( Central Asia ).

The Chodschabakirgan springs on the northern flank of the Turkestan Range in Rajon Leilek the Kyrgyz region of Batken . It initially flows in a predominantly north-easterly direction through the foothills. Later he turns north and northwest. When it reaches the Ferghana Valley on the border with Tajikistan, it fans out into countless irrigation channels . Much of the water is channeled into the Great Fergana Canal . The actual course of the river continues north west past the cities of Chkalov and Chudschand and ends on the south bank of the Syr Darya.

The Khodjabakirgan has a length of 130 km. It drains an area of ​​1740 km². The mean discharge 45 km above the mouth is about 11 m³ / s.
