Choi Eun-kyung ( kor. 최은경 ; born December 26, 1984 ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Choi won all five gold medals of the women's competitions at the Winter Universiade 2005 in Innsbruck . At the Short Track World Championships she won a total of fourteen gold, four silver and three bronze medals during her career.

In 2002 she won the silver medal in the 1500 m and gold with the relay at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . She was able to win the same medals again in Turin in 2006 at the Winter Olympics .

  • 500 m: 44.496 s ( Marquette , USA, October 24, 2003)
  • 1,000 m: 1: 31.052 min ( Bormio , Italy, November 13, 2005)
  • 1,500 m: 2: 20.978 min ( Beijing , China, March 11, 2005)
