Chomino [ xɔˈminɔ ] ( German Kummin ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the Gmina Świerzno (Schwirsen municipality) in the Kamieński powiat (Camminer district) .
The village is located in Western Pomerania , five kilometers southwest of Świerzno (Schwirsen) , eleven kilometers southeast of the district town of Kamień Pomorski (Cammin i. Pom.) And sixty kilometers north of Stettin .
In 1910 were in the rural community of 129 inhabitants Kummin counted in Gutsbezirk Kummin A, B and C 79 inhabitants and Gutsbezirk Kummin D 56 inhabitants. The manor districts were later incorporated into the rural community.
Before 1945 Kummin formed a rural community in the district of Cammin i. Pom. the Prussian province of Pomerania . In addition to Kummin, the Neuhöfe residential area belonged to the rural community . In 1925 the municipality had 339 inhabitants in 65 households, in 1933 304 inhabitants and in 1939 312 inhabitants.
