history
Rybice is first mentioned in historical sources in 1364. In 1390 it is mentioned as a noble residence owned by David von Brockhusen , Herr auf Lüskow, Zoldekow, Riebitz and Groß Justin. In 1655, still in the possession of the aristocratic family, the village was managed by a farmer with 1/1/2 hoofs of land, as well as a farm with 1/2 hoofs of land and a small farm with 1/8 hoofs of land.
In 1782, Riebitz had two farms, a farmer, a half-farmer, two cottages, and a total of eight fireplaces. By inheritance, Riebitz was divided into three Brockhausen fiefdoms. Riebitz A with the Vorwerk Baldebus A (Polish Białobudż ), the later Baldebus settlement, was the aristocratic residence. Riebitz B with the Vorwerk Baldebus B and the Riebitz C.
In 1929 Riebitz A had 4 inhabitants, Riebitz B 162 inhabitants.
After 1929, Riebitz A and B merged to form the Riebitz rural community in the Groß Justin district .
In 1933 there were 157 inhabitants in Riebitz and in 1939 the village had 153 inhabitants.
In 1903 a Slavic clay vessel with mixed hacked silver content was found near Riebitz. This mainly contained German coins dated from 936 to 995 as well as jewelry and bars.
Until 1945 the village was in the district of Cammin i. Pom. In 1945, after the Second World War , the previously German village came under Polish administration. The German population was expelled. From 1945 to 1954 the village belonged to the Gostyń Municipality. In 1999 the village came to the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and Powiat Kamieński .
