The Choricho is a 6769 m (according to other sources 6756 m ) high mountain in the central Karakoram in Pakistan .
location
It is located on the north side of the Baltoro Glacier at the western end of the Baltoro Muztagh . It forms the highest point of the so-called Paiju group . Neighboring mountains are Uli Biaho Peak , Uli Biaho Tower and Paiju Peak .
Ascent history
The first ascent of the Choricho was achieved by a British-American expedition (the British Ian R. Wade and Michael Goff and the Americans Geoffrey Childs and William Miller) on August 1, 1979 over the southwest face and the west ridge.
