Jochen Gnauert

Jochen Gnauert (* 1963 in Augsburg ) is a German cultural manager and director .

Life

After attending the artistic Wolfram-von-Eschenbach-Gymnasium in Schwabach , Gnauert passed his Abitur in 1984 at the Gymnasium Himmelsthür in Hildesheim . After his community service he studied musicology (among others with Theodor Göllner), theater studies (among others with Jürgen Schläder ) and German studies in Munich and Berlin and graduated in 1991 with a Magister Artium .

During his studies he was employed as an assistant director at the Hildesheim City Theater (director Pierre Léon ) and at the State Theater am Gärtnerplatz (director Hellmuth Matiasek ). In 1991 he moved to the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern as a director and worked here with Ulrich Peters . From 1992 to 1997 he was first director for music theater and assistant to the artistic director at the Augsburg Theater ( Peter Baumgardt ). There he staged a. a. 1995 the musical The Rocky Horror Show .

As a freelance director, he directed a. a. at the Hoofdstad operetta Amsterdam ( The Land of Smiles , 1998/99 season), at the Vogtlandtheater Plauen (including Die Entführung aus dem Serail , 1997/98 season), at the Thuringian State Theater Eisenach , at the Stralsund Theater , at the Coburg State Theater and at the theater Bregenz .

Since 2002 he has been managing director of the Kulturgipfel concert and consulting agency, together with Hilmar Körzinger . He produced and hosted the German speaking different classic series such as the Nymphenburg Palace Concerts , the Munich Residence Concerts , the Stuttgart Castle Concerts , the Marienrode Monastery Concerts and the Munich Open Air Summer, annually more than 300 events. He was also responsible for the program planning for the 2016/17 season program of the Parktheater Augsburg in the Kurhaus Göggingen .

He is married to the Dutch television director Saskya Kamphuis and has two daughters.

Teaching

He teaches culture and music management at various universities; u. a. at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt , at the University of Munich , at the University of Applied Management Erding and at the University of Media in Munich .
