Stuttgart Palace Concerts

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Stuttgart Palace Concerts are a series of chamber music concerts.

The concert organizer is Kulturgipfel GmbH, based in Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen . The music event was initiated by the cultural manager Jochen Gnauert . According to the organizer, a good 5000 visitors are reached with 15 concerts every year.

The concerts have been taking place since March 2006 in the White Hall of the New Palace in Stuttgart , which is particularly suitable for classical concerts thanks to its architecture and acoustics. All concerts are moderated. The program selection focuses on chamber music works and operas from the late baroque up to the end of the 19th century.

The most frequently listed composers are: Johann Strauss (jun.) , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , Antonio Vivaldi , Giuseppe Verdi , Gioachino Rossini , Gaetano Donizetti and Johann Sebastian Bach . Among others were Lauren Francis , Sieglinde Zehetbauer , Daniel Fiolka (u. A. As Papageno in The Magic Flute , as well as various bel canto concerts) and Christoph Soldan at various concerts.

The concerts, which can be assigned to the cultural sector as well as to event tourism , are mainly marketed online via numerous ticket and event portals, but some are also advertised in the daily press.
