Chris Ferrie

Chris Ferrie (* 1983 ) is a Canadian physicist , mathematician and non-fiction author .

Live and act

Ferrie graduated from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo , Ontario , Canada , where he received his BSC in Mathematical Physics and his Masters in Applied Mathematics . He then received his PhD in Mathematical Physics on Some Theory and Applications of Probability in Quantum Mechanics from the University of Waterloo in 2012 .

From 2013 to 2014 he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Quantum Information and Control at the University of New Mexico . From 2015 to 2017 he was a postdoctoral research associate and since 2017 he has been a lecturer at the Center for Quantum Engineer Systems (Center for Quantum computer science ) of the University of Technology worked in Sydney. In Germany he became known as the author of the Baby University book series for toddlers, which was published in German by Loewe Verlag .

Ferrie is married and has four children.
