Hans Christopher "Chris" Steinfeld (born December 14, 1959 in Denver ) is a former American sailor .
successes
Chris Steinfeld took part in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in the 470 dinghy . Together with Steve Benjamin he finished second behind Luis Doreste and Roberto Molina and in front of Thierry Peponnet and Luc Pillot . With a total of 43 points, they received the silver medal. Even before the Games, they had won the silver medal together at the 1981 World Championships in Quiberon and at the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas .
Steinfeld graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in theater studies in 1985 .
