Christ Kasela Mbona (born December 19, 1991 in Kinshasa , Zaire ) is a German - Congolese football player who is used as a defender .
Life
At the age of three, Kasela moved with his mother and six siblings from the Congo to Düsseldorf . He learned to play football in the Gerresheim district of Düsseldorf and moved to Mönchengladbach at the age of sixteen.
Career
Kasela came to Bielefeld via the youth department of Borussia Mönchengladbach , where he was trained by Christian Ziege in the U17 . Ziege brought him here in the summer of 2010, who was the head coach of Arminia at the time. Kasela made his second division debut on November 26, 2010 during the league game against Fortuna Düsseldorf , where he was in the starting line-up. In January 2011 Kasela was transferred to the second team due to the large squad of the professional team and to strengthen the regional league team.
For the 2011/12 season Kasela moved to FC 08 Homburg in the Oberliga Südwest , where he signed a one-year contract. On May 9, 2012 he moved to SC Wiedenbrück 2000 and was part of the regional league team in the 2012/13 season . After six months without a club, the relegation-threatened regional league team SSVg Velbert signed him in January 2014 until the end of the season. After that Kasela Mbona was again without a club for half a year. In January 2015 he joined the regional league team SG Wattenscheid 09 , but left the club again for the 2016/17 season and moved to the major league for SC Düsseldorf-West .
