Christa Drmota
Christa Drmota (born December 26, 1945 in Cologne ; † May 24, 2019 ) was a German songwriter .
Life
After elementary school, Christa Drmota did an apprenticeship as a hotel and restaurant assistant. She then embarked on a commercial career, working as a personnel and financial accountant and later as an authorized signatory. She began writing in the Cologne dialect while she was still at school . In the 1990s she founded the children's theater group Heider Kirchenmäuschen and directed it for ten years. During this time she performed a total of 15 musicals with children between the ages of 3 and 16, in which she directed, tailored costumes, designed sets and wrote her first song: Traumwelt der Kinder . The first edition of this title was 10,000, sung by the Cologne benefit band , consisting of Moshe Fleischer, Toni Polster , Karl-Heinz Brandt, Sven West, Hella von Sinnen , Festival Committee President Hans Horst Engels, the Sophisticats and Detlef Lauenstein. Two more editions followed. With the title Marieche , "Die Cöllner" stayed in the rotation of WDR4 for thirteen weeks .
Christa Drmota has been a member of the Celle School since 2009 . Christa Drmota was married and lived in Cologne. She died on May 24, 2019 and was buried on June 4, 2019 in the cemetery in Cologne-Wahn .

Christa Drmota worked with Willy Klüter , Dirk Bräutigam , Hans Knipp , Georg Wolff (head of the Bückeburg Big Band), Sepp Ferner and Micky Nauber (cathedral striker).
