Christa Perathoner (born June 7, 1987 in Brixen ) is an Italian biathlete .

Christa Perathoner lives in Selva di Val Gardena , starts for the local club SCGardena and is trained by Andreas Zingerle . Before starting her biathlon career, she competed in cross-country skiing as a teenager. She has been competing in the Junior European Cup since 2006, but rarely achieved placements in the top ten. In 2007 in Martell and in 2008 in Ruhpolding , the young Italian competed in the Junior World Championships. The best result was a 20th place in the pursuit, which she achieved in 2008. The European Junior Championships 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , where Perathoner could be twelfth in the individual and fifth in the relay, went a little better . She has been competing in the adult sector since 2008. First she started in the IBU Cup and quickly achieved a good result with eleventh place in Obertilliach . Perathoner was then used in Hochfilzen for the first time in the biathlon world cup . In the sprint, the Italian came in 84th place, with the Italian relay she achieved her first top ten result in tenth. After Perathoner could not improve her results in Ruhpolding and was not used in Oberhof , she won her first World Cup points in Antholz as 34th of the sprint. In Pyeongchang, South Korea, Christa Perathoner took part in a world championship for the first time . She was 45th in the sprint and 53rd in the pursuit. Christa Perathoner took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She was only used in the singles and finished 79th with five shooting errors.
