Christian Bömkes (born November 6, 1980 in Winterberg ) is a German songwriter , composer , producer and musician .

Career

After an early musical education and subsequent piano lessons, he founded his first band with two friends at the age of eleven. At the age of 14 he received bass lessons and various bands followed, such as the hip-hop / rap band Sons of Gastarbeita or Wink , which attracted attention with German rock.

In 2000 he graduated from the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium in Marl . He then studied musicology , linguistics and archeology at the University of Cologne from 2001 to 2002 and special education for teaching at the University of Dortmund from 2003 to 2007 .

Musical work

He received his first author's contract with Schallbau Musikverlag . Among other things, he was instrumental in the fifth studio album by Laith Al-Deen, Die Liebe zum Detail , which reached number three on the German album charts. Also on the winning album Plan A! by Thomas Godoj , the 2008 RTL - talent show looking for Germany the superstar won, he was involved. He contributed four titles with Helden sucht , Autopilot , Summer Breeze and Plan A with the help of other composers.

Other publications for bands and artists such as Rapsoul and Stanfour followed under Schallbau .

In 2010 Christian Bömkes left Schallbau and has been an author for BMG Rights Management ever since.

From 2011 to the beginning of 2012 he played bass in the Thomas Godoj Band. Together with him, apart from two tracks, he had also composed and written the songs for the third album So wollt. The single Roofs of a Whole City was released on October 7, 2011.

In 2011 he founded the band Ewig with Jeanette Biedermann and Jörg Weißelberg . On August 31, 2012 Ewig released their first single One Step Further . The debut album Wir sind Ewig followed on September 14, 2012.
