Piotr Arkadiusz Klimczak (born January 18, 1980 in Nowy Sącz ) is a Polish athlete who has specialized in the 400-meter run and is internationally successful, especially as a relay runner.

Klimczak took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in the 400-meter run and in the 4-by-400-meter relay , but was eliminated in the preliminary run. At the Universiade 2005 in İzmir , he won the gold medal with the relay. In the following year he led the Polish team to Daniel Dąbrowski , Marcin Marciniszyn , Rafał Wieruszewski as the final runner to second place at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow .

At the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham in 2007 Klimczak was again used as the final runner in the 4 x 400 meter relay and won the bronze medal together with Jan Ciepiela , Marcin Marciniszyn and Jarosław Wasiak . In the same year he won the relay at the Universiade in Bangkok and was second in the 400-meter run. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing he finished seventh with the relay, at the 2009 European Indoor Championships the Polish relay won another bronze medal in the Birmingham line-up.

Both at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin and at the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, ​​Klimczak finished fifth with the Polish relay team.

Piotr Klimczak is 1.82 m tall and weighs 72 kg. He starts for the sports club AZS AWF Kraków .
