Marcin Marciniszyn (born September 7, 1982 in Bystrzyca Kłodzka ) is a Polish athlete who specializes in the 400-meter run .

He celebrated his greatest successes as a member of the Polish 4 x 400 meter relay . So he won the relay at the Universiade 2005 in İzmir the gold medal and the following year the silver medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Moscow , where he also reached the semifinals in the 400-meter run.

In 2007 he took third place with the Polish 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham . At the World Championships in Osaka that same year , he also won the bronze medal in the relay in 3: 00.05 min. He also started there in the 400-meter run, but retired with a time of 45.83 s in the preliminary round.

He won another bronze medal with the relay at the 2009 European Indoor Championships in Turin . At the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin , he was fifth with the relay. In the 400-meter run, he was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In addition, he has been Polish champion seven times, four times over 400 m (2004–2007) and over the same distance once in the hall, in the juniors and in the U23 juniors.

Marcin Marciniszyn is 1.85 m tall and has a competition weight of 72 kg.
