Christian Bickenbach

Christian Bickenbach (* 1972 ) is a German lawyer .

Life

He studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz (first and second state examinations before the State Examination Office for Lawyers, Rhineland-Palatinate ). He was a research associate and academic advisor a. Currently at the Chair for Public Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law ( Friedhelm Hufen ) and at the Chair for Media Law, Cultural Law and Public Law ( Matthias Cornils ). After graduating as Dr. iur. and habilitation , venia legendi for constitutional and administrative law as well as constitutional history of the modern age, he was appointed professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Potsdam in 2015 . From 2015 to 2017 he was dean of studies . He is a member of the Association of German Constitutional Law Teachers and the Society for Environmental Law .
