Christian Franz-Pohlmann (born August 15, 1980 in Versmold ) is a German football coach .
Career
He began his coaching career with the male U-19 youths of Preußen Münster in the Bundesliga West and FC Gütersloh 2000 and from 2009 coached the men's team of VfL Sassenberg in the district league. In summer 2011 he took over the B-Juniors of FSV Gütersloh 2009 , who qualified for the newly created Bundesliga a year later . In 2013 , the Gütersloh women became German runners-up after a 3-1 defeat in the final against FC Bayern Munich . In the following two years, Franz-Pohlmann's team reached the semi-finals.
For the 2015/16 season Christian Franz-Pohlmann took over the first women's team of FSV Gütersloh in 2009 in the 2nd Bundesliga North and still worked full-time in his trained profession as a roofer. At the end of the season, Franz-Pohlmann moved to the Bundesliga club FF USV Jena , where he was released in November 2016. For the 2017/18 season, Franz-Pohlmann took over the women's team at MSV Duisburg as the successor to Inka Grings . There he was released in February 2018 after the team had failed to win points from the eleven first round matches.
For the second half of the 2018/19 season, Franz-Pohlmann took over the B-Juniors of FSV Gütersloh 2009.
