Christian Gottlieb

Johann Christian Gottlieb (born June 3, 1784 in Bleidenstadt ; † March 21, 1837 there ) was a Nassau landowner and member of the state parliament .

biography

Gottlieb was a landowner and mayor in Bleidenstadt.

In 1836 he was elected in a by-election for Seelig in the Wiesbaden constituency from the group of landowners in the Chamber of Deputies of the Land estates of the Duchy of Nassau . He held the mandate until 1837, but was only present in 1836.

family

Gottlieb was the son of the baker Johann Georg Gottlieb (born April 28, 1765 in Wehen ; † April 28, 1836 in Bleidenstadt) and his wife Katharina Eleonora nee Rüst (born September 16, 1757 in Breithardt ; † January 27, 1826 in Bleidenstadt) . The paternal grandfather, Gottlieb Bleibtreu (Bleibgetreu), formerly Gümpel, was a Jew from Dotzheim who converted to Christianity in 1753.

He married Johanette Henriette Elisabethe, née Reifenberger, in Bleidenstadt in 1803 (* 1784 in Bleidenstadt; † September 5, 1837 there), the daughter of the innkeeper of the "Nassauische Schanze". Johann Reinhard Reifenberger.
