Christian Granderath (* 1959 in Lünen ) is a German editor , film and television producer .

Life

Granderath studied history and German literature in Munich from 1983 to 1987, and wrote his master's degree on film and politics in the Weimar Republic . From 1989 to 1995 he worked as an editor in the culture department and the television play department of the SWF . There he dealt with, among other things, the SWF's crime scene , the Debut series in the Third and the ARD series Wilde Herzen . In 1996 he became a producer at Dom-Film GmbH and then from 1997 to 2000 a producer at Westdeutsche Universum-Film GmbH. In October 2000, at Georg Feil's instigation, he moved to Colonia Media Filmproduktions GmbH and on January 1, 2008 to teamWorx , where he took over the Cologne office.

On September 1, 2010, Granderath took over the management of the TV film, feature film and theater department at NDR from Doris Heinze , who was terminated without notice in 2009.
