Christian Hermes (born May 5, 1970 in Baden-Baden ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman who has served as the city ​​dean of Stuttgart and cathedral pastor of the cathedral parish of St. Eberhard since 2011 . His stance, most recently in the state election campaign in Baden-Württemberg, against right-wing populism and xenophobia , especially against the alternative for Germany , was received in the regional and national press. Life

Christian Hermes grew up in Weisenbach . After obtaining the general higher education entrance qualification at the Gymnasium Gernsbach in 1989, he began studying Catholic theology and philosophy at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . Professional background
