Christian Hiß

Christian Hiß (* 1961 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German entrepreneur, founder and director of the Regionalwert AG Freiburg, which he founded and has an office in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl , speaker and non-fiction author .

Life

Hiß was born in Freiburg, grew up on one of the first organic farms in Germany in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl and initially trained as a master gardener .

At the age of 21 he founded his own organic nursery, which he ran as a family business until 2006. From 1995 to 2003 he organized several symposia on the future of agriculture in the region on his farm. Hiß founded the Bürgeraktiengesellschaft Regionalwert AG to finance businesses and start-ups across the entire value chain .

In 2011 Hiß, who had made up his Abitur on his second educational path, completed his studies as a “Master of Social Banking and Social Finance”.

He is the father of three sons.
