Christian Hoffmann (basketball player)

Christian Hoffmann (born March 12, 1987 ) is a former German basketball player who played for Trier and Quakenbrück in the basketball league and was under contract with several second division clubs .

career

The 1.85 meter tall point guard started playing basketball at the age of twelve at TuS Holzkirchen . He then moved to Bayern Munich , where he went through the youth teams and later played for the first men's team in the regional league.

For the 2007/08 season Hoffmann signed a contract with Bundesliga club TBB Trier , where he was initially used as a supplementary player. In the course of the season he received more and more playing time and became a fixture in the position of the builder. In 2008/2009, his playing time fell from just under ten minutes per game to under five minutes. After the season he returned to Bayern Munich in the second Bundesliga Pro A back. On June 26, 2010, he and three other players won the Make Your Move streetball tournament in Innsbruck (Austria).

For the 2011/2012 season he moved to the Artland Dragons in Quakenbrück . In July 2014 Hoffmann signed a contract for one year with an extension option with S.Oliver Würzburg and was runner-up with the team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA. In 2015 he left the team and played for the TG Würzburg in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB until 2017 .
