Christian Picker

Christian Picker (born November 20, 1978 in Bonn ) is a German lawyer and professor at the University of Konstanz .

Life

After high school in 1998 at the Uhland-Gymnasium Tübingen he made from 1998 to 1999 the civil service at a special school for children and young people with intellectual disabilities in Tübingen . From 1999 to 2005 he studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and at the University of Aberdeen . In 2000 he was accepted into the German National Academic Foundation . In 2002 he obtained a Diploma in Legal Studies. In 2005 he passed the first state examination in law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. From 2005 to 2007 he completed his legal clerkship at the Freiburg Regional Court . In 2007 he passed the second state examination in law in Stuttgart . From 2008 to 2010 he was legal advisor at the University Medical Center Freiburg and a research assistant at the Research Center for University Labor Law with Manfred Löwisch ; Lecturer at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, the VWA Freiburg and the PH Freiburg . From 2008 to 2010 he was a doctoral scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. After receiving his doctorate in 2011 as Dr. iur. by the law faculty of the Albert-Ludwigs-University with the topic The operational exercise from 2011 to 2013 he was a research assistant at the chair for civil law and labor law with Volker Rieble . From 2011 to 2017 he was a lecturer at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and at the VWA Munich. From 2013 to 2017 he was a scholarship holder and habilitation candidate at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. In 2017 he received his habilitation from the Law Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich with his work Genossenschaftidee und Governance and received the qualification to teach civil law, labor law, commercial and company law. From 2017 to 2018 he represented the chair for civil law, labor law, corporate law and legal theory at the University of Konstanz . In 2018 he accepted the professorship from the University of Konstanz.
