Christian Rabl

Christian Rabl (born April 28, 1971 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian lawyer and professor at the University of Vienna .

Life

After graduating from the Federal High School in Wiener Neustadt in 1989, Rabl studied law at the University of Vienna . He completed his studies in 1993 with a graduate degree in law. In the same year he began his work at the Vienna Institute for Civil Law as a research assistant, which he gave up again in 2002. In 1996 he obtained his doctorate in law there. After his habilitation in 2002, he was awarded the license to teach civil law.

Subsequently, he was initially an associate professor at the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Vienna, but from 2006 worked mainly as a lawyer. In 2010 he returned to research and teaching and became a full professor for civil law and financial services law at the University of Salzburg . In 2013 he returned to his alma mater in Vienna and has been a university professor for civil law at the institute for civil law there.

Christian Rabl is, among other things, a member of the editorial board of the Österreichische Notariatszeitung and the Austrian magazine for consumer law and co-editor of the Austrian bank archive.
