Christian Rack (born September 21, 1899 in Renquishausen ; † July 22, 1983 in Saulgau ) was a German educator and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Rack completed a teacher training, entered the school service as a teacher and was later promoted to senior teacher. From 1957 he was senior director of the advanced high school in Saulgau . After 1945 he joined the CDU, for which he was elected to the state constitutional assembly of Baden-Württemberg in 1952 and had been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg since 1953 . He was directly elected member of the Saulgau constituency.

At the beginning of 1960, the accusation was raised that Rack had given the son of his superior and President of the Tübingen High School Office, Dr. Helped Josef Zug to get better grades in order to enable him to be admitted to the Abitur. Rack then asked for his MP's immunity to be waived and filed for disciplinary action. In addition, he decided not to run for the state parliament again in the election in May , whereupon Prime Minister Kurt Georg Kiesinger took over his constituency. In the period that followed, the Ministry of Culture investigated the events and initiated proceedings. However, the allegations against Rack could not be substantiated and no breach of duty could be proven.
