Christian Schilling (born January 6, 1992 in Graz ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Schilling started his career in 2001 at LUV Graz . In 2005 he moved to the youth department of the GAK , which he left in 2008 to join local rivals SK Sturm Graz .

In 2009 he returned to the red jackets and made his debut in the third highest Austrian division of the Regionalliga Mitte. Schilling played through on November 7, 2009 against FC Sankt Veit / Glan . The game in Carinthia was won 3-0. After two more seasons at GAK and a missed promotion in 2011/12, he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Wacker Innsbruck in summer 2012 . He played his first championship game for the Tyroleans on November 18, 2012 against the reigning champions FC Red Bull Salzburg . The defender played from the start and was substituted for Simon Piesinger after a yellow card in the 69th minute . The game in the Red Bull Arena ended in a 2-0 defeat. On December 1, 2012, Schilling also scored his first Bundesliga goal when he equalized in the 90th minute in a 2-2 draw against Wolfsberger AC . In 2015, Schilling switched to SCR Altach .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the second division club SV Ried , where he received a contract valid until June 2019. For the 2019/20 season, he moved to league competitor SC Austria Lustenau , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. After twelve appearances for Lustenau, he left the club prematurely after the 2019/20 season and moved to fourth-class FC Zirl .

National team

Schilling has already played international games for the Austrian U-17 , U-18 , U-19 and U-21 national teams .
