Christian Wenning

Christian Wenning (* 1974 in Münster , Westphalia ) is a German lobbyist .

Wenning studied political science in Heidelberg and Paris , graduated with a Magister Artium and then worked as an employee of members of the Bundestag , including Angela Merkel . From 2004 to 2006 he was Federal Chairman of the Young European Federalists in Germany and thus a member of the Presidium of the Europa-Union Deutschland. From 2006 to 2008 he was a representative of the JEF and the German Federal Youth Association on the board of the European Movement Germany network . From 2010 to 2014 Wenning was honorary general secretary ofUnion of European Federalists ( Brussels ). From 2011 to 2017 Wenning was a member of the board of the European Movement International as a representative of the UEF .

Wenning worked full-time at the telecommunications company Arcor from 2005–2009 and at the tobacco manufacturer Philip Morris International from 2009–2011 . Since 2014 he has been managing director of the management consultancy Erste Lesung .
