Christian Wilibald von Goldacker , also modernized Christian Willibald von Goldacker (born January 21, 1721 in Weberstedt , † April 2, 1801 in Langensalza ), was a major general in Saxony .

Life

origin

Christian Wilibald was a member of the Thuringian noble family von Goldacker . His parents were Major General Julius August von Goldacker (1673–1740) and Anna Dorothea von Uetterodt adH Ortleben. Major General Adolf August von Goldacker (1715–1765), also from Electoral Saxony, was his older brother.

career

Goldacker joined the Karabinier Guard in 1741 as a cornet . In the regiment he was promoted in 1742 to lieutenant , 1746 to staff captain , 1747 to captain , 1760 to lieutenant colonel , in 1767 to colonel , and finally in 1778 to Major General and Inspector General. In 1779 he took over as chief of the Chevauleger Regiment C II from 1734/1 . He took part in the Silesian Wars and the War of the Bavarian Succession . 1788 Goldacker has its farewell with pension received.

family

Goldacker married Anna Adelgunda von Hamilton in Warsaw in 1752 . The marriage resulted in nine children, of whom the sons Christian August von Goldacker (1753-1826), Major General and Heinrich Willibald von Goldacker (1759-1814), Rittmeister also served in the Saxon Army.
