Christian Zwanziger

Christian Zwanziger (born May 20, 1987 in Bamberg ) is a German geographer and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He has been a member of the Bavarian state parliament since the state election in Bavaria in 2018 .

Life

Having grown up in Pommersfelden in Upper Franconia , Christian Zwanziger completed a degree in geography at the University of Erlangen after attending school in Höchstadt an der Aisch . From 2014 to 2018 he worked as a research assistant in the office of member of the Bundestag Uwe Kekeritz .

Party and politics

During his time as a student, Christian Zwanziger was active in university politics. Among other things, he was the spokesman for the Bavarian student council. He was also involved in the popular initiative “No to tuition fees in Bavaria” .

Zwanziger has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 2012 . Since the state elections in Bavaria in 2018 , he has been represented in the Bavarian state parliament , where he is the spokesperson for regional development and tourism. Zwanziger is also a member of the Committee for Economy, Regional Development, Energy, Media and Digitization in the Bavarian State Parliament.
