Christin Stark (born October 21, 1989 in Gadebusch ) is a German pop singer .

Career

Christin Stark took ballet lessons from the age of six and began singing in a musical group called Lollipop in her early school years . When she was 10 years old, her family moved from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to Osterholz-Scharmbeck ; there, too, she sang cover songs in two school bands. After graduating from high school, she completed an apprenticeship as a hairdresser and hairstylist and also pursued her own music career through smaller labels and TV stations. At the beginning of 2010 she won a hit competition in Bremen and thus got access to the music industry. With the song Ich bin stark she had her first successes on regional radio stations. She first drew national attention in 2012 with the video for her song Überflieger . The following year, their debut album Unbelievably strong appeared on the MCP label . She then won a young talent award at the smago! Award and was honored with a Schlager-Saphir and an EMMAward.

On her next album she worked with Matthias Reim , who also supported her personally. He himself was involved as the author of most of the songs and several well-known producers from the Schlager and Schlagerpop area ( Joachim Horn-Bernges , Luis Rodriguez, Amadeus Crotti and Thorsten Brötzmann) took care of the completion of the album with the title Here . In February 2016 it was released on the Ariola label and entered the German charts at number 77.

In December 2018, Stark became a member of the charity project Schlagerstars for children and recorded the song All over again with the group . The campaign by Schlagerplanet Radio and the SOS Children's Villages collects money for children in need with the Christmas song.

Private

Until 2013 Christin Stark had a relationship with the moderator Martin Scholz . After 2013 a relationship with Matthias Reim developed.
