Christina Bellinghoven (born August 6, 1988 in Düsseldorf ) is a German soccer player . She plays as a goalkeeper .
Career
Bellinghoven started playing football at the age of four. At Viktoria Buchholz in Duisburg, she went through the youth (boys) teams before moving to Potsdam via the youth department of FCR Duisburg. She made her Bundesliga debut on September 10, 2006 at the 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in the game against SG Essen-Schönebeck . On May 10, 2012, Bellinghoven announced the end of her career. In March 2013 Bellinghoven returned to FCR Duisburg as a player. After the 2012/13 season, she took another break from football and in March 2014 joined the regional league team Bayer 04 Leverkusen II , for which she played 25 times until summer 2016. For the 2016/17 season she signed the Bundesliga promoted Borussia Mönchengladbach .
