Christina Jantz-Herrmann (born Jantz * 6. September 1978 in Bremen ) is a German politician of the SPD . From 2013 to 2017 she was a member of the German Bundestag .

Education, job and private life

Christina Jantz-Herrmann grew up in Schwanewede , where she first attended the Dreienkamp elementary school and then switched to the cooperative comprehensive school . She then completed an apprenticeship as an administrative clerk and, in addition to her professional activity, qualified as an administrative specialist. At first, Jantz-Herrmann worked as a clerk at the Senator for Finance at the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen , then moved to the University of Bremen to work as a deputy head of department. Until the federal election in September 2013, Jantz-Herrmann worked as the deputy head of the local office in Vegesack at the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . Jantz-Herrmann has been married since December 2015 and has one son.

Political party

Christina Jantz-Herrmann has been a member of the SPD since 2005 . Since 2012 she has been chairwoman of the SPD in the Osterholz district and deputy chairwoman of the SPD in the North Lower Saxony district. Jantz-Herrmann is also an auditor on the state board of the SPD Lower Saxony .

Local politics

Christina Jantz-Herrmann has been a member of the Schwanewede community council since 2006 ; from November 2011 until the 2013 federal election she was chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group in the local council and spokeswoman for the SPD / Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen group. To this day she is a member of the SPD parliamentary group in the Schwanewede municipal council.
